Planning Parties.. oh baby...

Many of you know that planning parties are my absolute favorite thing to do! I like planning big Birthday bashes for myself, and others! I have planned one baby shower and LOVED it! I planned my wedding and had a great time doing it! I used to think that Event Coordination was my chosen career field. Now that we have our beautiful Carrie Addis, I want my afternoons, weekends, mornings, etc! I love spending time with my girl and a career with event planning will have to wait til later in life! :) Until then I plan to PLAN lots of PARTIES!!

What I have been Thankful for so far.. This Month..

hey friend.

I am truly liking this social media trend of tweeting, status updating, and blogging what we are thankful for each day. I like spreading it out too, it is less over whelming. It is a good way to warm myself up to my journal entry 365 thankful thingy that I will be attempting.

Over the past week or so I have been Thankful for a few things...

1. my loving husband, who is trained to put the tioliet seat down. :) and seriously, I am thankful for him. He completes me.
2. my best friend, Sara Allen, who recently celebrated a birthday. I sure hope to celebrate many more birthdays with her.
3. Football, particular to the South. Had three of what we call, MY TEAMS, win this past weekend.         GOOO DAWGS!! GEAUX LSU!! AND DEM' SAINTS! ... Football is such a tradition in the south, such a great way to gather around a TV, gorge on good food and beverages, and have a grand ole' time with your friends.

Today I am thankful for three simple things in my life...
1. BRILLO PADS!! I don't think I will ever clean pots and pans without them again.
2. No Bake Peanut Butter Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies. The kind Live Oak High used to have. They are delicious and I am addicted.
3. Diet Coke. enough said.

Today has been one of those days that my to do list for around the house chores was a MILE long and I only got one item PARTIALLY checked off. Totally dislike those days. Maybe tomorrow I can be more productive

adios friends of no bake cookies

Thankful November - getting in the spirit

In case you missed my Hallow's Eve post... check it here ... I mentioned starting a project that I had found on pintrest. (a semi journal to document the day and what I am thankfulf for) I think my d-day to start is going to be Thanksgiving 2011, but I am going to get a head start and join the mass amount of other people posting what they are Thankful for every day for the month of November. Seeing how much I love Twitter, Facebook, and Blogging, I am sure I will alteranate between the three social medias to express my Thankfulness! (until Turkey Day, then it'll be all paper!) Oh how I love PAPER!!

{Speaking of paper, I can not wait for some paper projects! I think I will be making Christmas Tree's out of scrapbook paper, toilet paper rolls, and some fabric ribbon. Girls Craft Night must be happening soon!}

Onto the Thankfulness::

Nov 1: Thankful for the Month of November:: It is a beautiful month ful of golden colors, thankfulness, and togetherness.

Nov 2: I am thankful for Social Media. It is a great tool of communication, expression, and enjoyment:: when used to its fullest potential and in the right manner it was intended for.

Nov 3: I am thankful for my Mother in Law, Pat McCumsey. She is truly an amazing woman with a HUGE heart for all people. I do not know how I lucked up and got the best, most loving, sincere monther in law on the planet, but I am so very thankful to have her in my life.

Thanks to all who enjoy reading my rambling. I really enjoy writing. Glad to start back, just hope I can keep up with it!

Sunday we went shooting skeet at my parents house! We had such a great time! My three nieces came and all shot the .22 and enjoyed it! We played some back yard football and baseball. Great Sunday Funday! Maybe we will do it again soon, and call it Shootin' Sunday. ha!
