Carrie Addis is BEAUTIFUL!!

We had an amazing weekend! I graduated! It was a very fulfilling experience... An accomplishment that I will always cherish. I am so thankful my parents and grandmother, NeeNee, aka Shirley Sue, came to see me walk across the stage! And poor old Brian stayed the entire time! :)

My graduation present from Brian was one I will never forget! We did a 3D ultrasound! Roll call for the ultrasound: My Mother, Phyllis, My dad, Drew, My in-laws, Mr.Mike and Mrs.Pat, and my grandmother, Shirley.
We ultrasound was an amazing experience. Carrie was not very cooperative at first, she was hiding from us, being 'camera' shy, something neither one of her parents are!!! We got to see some amazing movement. She sucks her thumb, keeps her hands in her face, and feet are just a kickin'! Thankfully she has all ten fingers and toes! She has stolen all of our hearts already! It was truly a blessing seeing her all cozy in my belly! Here are some of the photo's we received from the ultrasound:
Little Feet- She was crossing her legs!

Sleepy Baby Carrie

Giving us the PEACE sign! My Favorite!

She Sucks Her Thumb!!

All Cozy!

Uh-Oh A Grumpy Face- She was getting cranky towards the end of the session, so amazing to actually see!

Picking her nose!?

We are so blessed to see our little girl! Hope you enjoy the pictures...

Have A Holly Jolly Chirstmas....

From the McCumsey's (Brian and Sydney)

First and foremost, I have neglected blogging and I do not like that at all. Apologies to all that love blogging; I hope to get better at it, one of my New Years Resolutions actually.
These past couple of weeks have been a whirlwind…
There was Thanksgiving….
Andrew Feeling Carrie Kick!
We celebrated Thanksgiving with my Day Family and my new McCumsey Family. It was a blessing and a great way to start the Holiday Celebrations.  By the way, my nephew, Andrew, still does not want a girl cousin! Ha!

The wedding was everything I had ever dreamed of and more. It was simple, sweet, and perfect for us. I enjoyed the wedding ceremony, the friends and family present, and the at home comfortable feel of the ceremony.  The reception was a night I will never forget! It was exactly what we wanted! We wanted our closest friends and family to join in on the celebration and fun! We danced the night away, I was so VERY sore that night and next day! I am so thankful that my friends and family enjoyed it as much as we did!
Growing up most girls dream of their big day… our big day, without a doubt, exceeded my dreams.  I can happily say that I have married the best man for me.  After the ceremony we snuck away and I will cherish that time forever, the smile on his face, and happiness in both our eyes is something I will never forget and luckily Heather Ray captured that moment and I can not wait to have that memory in a photograph. Heather was an awesome photographer to work with and I can not wait to share my pictures with everyone! ☺
Here is some sneak peaks from the wedding and reception:

So Happy to have my AXO and LaTech Friends!

My Beautiful Mother!

After our amazing wedding, Gatlinburg, TN was our destination for our Honeymoon!

King of the Moutain Top- Rocky Mountain Top is what he SANG the ENTIRE TRIP!!

It was the perfect getaway, we relaxed and enjoyed our time together. There is so much to do up there! Next time will include family and friends. Wednesday, our initial day to come home, we woke up with it SNOWING! Not a lot but a little bit… enough me to hurry up and get off that mountain! Ha! Instead of going home Wednesday we went to Atlanta, GA instead… played in IKEA, which is AMAZING, and went to an NBA game. Nachos! ☺  All in all, I enjoyed the mountains and the honeymoon but I learned that I will always be a beach girl!!(We are already planning family vacation to Destin with our little girl!)

Returning home from the honeymoon, my life was sucked back into schoolwork, which was stressful! Thankfully it is OVER! I graduate tomorrow, yes TOMORROW Friday, December 17, 2010, SYDNEY RUE MCCUMSEY will have a Master’s Degree in Hospitality, Restaurant, and Tourism Management from the University of New Orleans.  I am so very proud of myself.  Getting my Masters flew by, but there were times, especially in the last few months when I wanted to put school on hold. I am so thankful for having such a wonderful support group, my momma, my dad, and Brian really pushed me! Brian was a trooper and revised TONS of papers! Now he is pushing me to find a J-O-B, the dreaded three letter word, and of course I knew the day would come that I would have to work, I just didn’t know I would 7 months pregnant!
